How can you imagine that bombing Palestinian medias, killing its journalists, cutting the basics to its civilians -a half of them kids-, striking any supposedly safe place to innocents… How can you imagine that unrespecting humanity´s rules even in a self-defense context, will you convince me about the justice of your actions?
I am nothing related to Middle East, but I am a human being as you are, as them are, I am from the other side of the world, nonetheless I am horrified, I am crying before any news about your military deployment.
I walked this spring morning to work thinking millions cannot do it, just walk through their cities, because you claim that those streets, those buildings, that land, belongs you.
Well, now you are shocked harvesting what you spread by decades across “your land”, without mercy. But this cruelty harvest is not hurting you, you are protected of course. It is hurting your own innocents, it over children and youth dancing, over women, over foreign workers, students, tourists, including people from my far far away continent and country, people who trusted your crazy promises, common people traveling, praying, looking opportunities, whole families.
So, even having the global record spying, the gold standard in militar technology, an outstanding security infrastructure, and a ruthless control over the Palestinians… Surprise! Things got complicated for you.
Let me guess, you will need more soldiers, another young people, fresh flesh to confront your “enemies”, to concrete your revenge, to end the life of other young people, to hit hospitals, shelters, to shoot press, to make a father keep his dead baby in arms, again and again.
Just to sleep better, you will need our diplomatic support, nation by nation we must condemn terrorism -your ambassador is working hard about it here as well, gaslighting any local authority which empathize with Palestine-. You need freedom to eliminate from “your” safe land any human animal. And we know you are the only all around the world authorized to do it, because you are the owner from everything there in the name of God, with exception of the consequences of your actions for decades against human beings, against your brothers and sisters.
Do you want to convince me about the justice of your actions?
No, maybe you do not. Why lose your time if -for inexplicable reasons as civilization- we systematically have accepted you as an authorized sociopath, the only with this holly right to be, to improve and to teach about it.
I could be wrong, but I understand that non your own people matter you, their perceptions about your actions, their different opinions, their deep damage -so violent some of them, so hurt many others-, because of that you indoctrinate them since kids, to reduce criticism, its empathy and responsibility in create an open jail to others behind your walls.
At the end, except you, all of the rest we are just human
animals, some are the wolfs of your nightmares, some are the sheep of yours
dreamed meadow.
